Airborne Insights has experience of using drones since 2018 to improve business efficiency, effectiveness and safety. The drone operators and remote pilots are trained, qualified, authorised and fully insured to operate drones safely in UK airspace in accordance with UK Civil Aviation Authority requirements. A number of DJI drones of different sizes and capabilities can be deployed depending on the needs of the task. We have the computer hardware and software required for the maths intensive processing of photographic data into digital 2D maps and 3D models.
Kieron Parnell has over 30 years experience in aerospace roles, including with UAVs and drones. He has a wealth of aircraft design, development, Test & Evaluation (T&E) and certification experience on UK, European and US military manned and unmanned aircraft. He has lead T&E and ground & flight test projects, demonstrating compliance with the relevant design safety certification specifications. He has also designed and tested drone systems for supply chain order delivery, stock checking & racking inspection, including within the warehouse environment.
